About me

Hi! I'm Be (pronounced something like Bae or Bay). I have been practicing yoga for 13 years and I have taught thousands of hours and hundreds of students since 2015. I did the 200hr teacher training at Chicago Yoga Center with my beloved teacher, Suddha Weixler, and the 300 hr training at Siddhi Yoga International. I am also a graduate of the Yoga for All Teacher Training taught by Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes, training that has given me the tools to make my classes more inclusive, so everyone feels accepted and brave in their own space. I took a yoga philosophy certification with Embodied Philosophy, and twice a year I take philosophy workshops with my teacher Edwin Bryant.

Besides teaching and studying yoga, I also study and practice Ayurveda. I am a Holistic Ayurvedic Coach and I can guide you to live a life full of balance and health, according to your own individual constitution. I mainly focus on digestive tract health, since it is the place where all diseases start.

Lastly, I wouldn’t be who I am today without the guidance of my spiritual teacher, Hari-kirtana das. I studied the Bhagavad-gita with Hari every week for two years. His concise and easy way of explaining difficult concepts has been very valuable in my formation as a yoga teacher, and as a human being. To this day, he continues supporting my spiritual journey, both with classes and workshops, and through his direct-guidance.

Yoga is my passion, my way of life. What I teach is what I practice; I share with my students all the aspects of this beautiful practice that elevate me, that help me lead a more joyful, happy, fulfilled life. And this is exactly what I wish for everyone: more love and more peace, inside and out.

Mādhava Yoga and Ayurveda is the result of years of study and practice, introspection and healing. It is my offer to you. The word Mādhava is another name of Krishna, and, in my teacher’s words, it is indicative of Krishna’s unique, honey-like sweetness; referring to Krishna’s position as the source of good fortune or as Vishnu, the husband of the Goddess of Fortune.

Come practice with me and start experiencing all the benefits that yoga can offer you. I teach yoga from my heart, opening the space for my students to explore through their own movement and to inquire and be curious during moments of stillness. My classes are designed to inspire you and to reconnect you with that aspect of yourself that you have forgotten: your own light, your own unconditional love.

May my work benefit every being in the world.
